Everything you need to know before getting started
Any single line item in your bank or credit card statement — a deposit, payment, transfer, or fee. A month with 45 bank transactions and 20 credit card charges = 65 transactions.
No problem. Extra transactions are $2 each. If you consistently exceed your limit, we'll recommend the next tier for better value.
We use QuickBooks Online (QBO) for all clients. If you're on something else, we'll migrate your data as part of onboarding. Your QBO subscription is billed separately to your business by Intuit — we set it up for you and work in your file. Custom Setup Fee may apply if migrating from a non-QBO system.
Most clients are fully onboarded within 48 hours. You fill out a quick form, e-sign your agreement, and we configure everything in QuickBooks.
We offer catch-up bookkeeping at $75/hour. We'll get you current, then roll into your monthly plan. Most catch-ups take 2-5 hours depending on how far behind you are.
Monthly reports (P&L, balance sheet, reconciliation) are delivered by the 15th of the following month, provided all documents (bank statements, receipts, client-side approvals) are received by month-end. If documents arrive late, delivery slides accordingly.
No — we're bookkeepers, not accountants. We keep your books clean year-round so your CPA can file your return quickly and accurately. We'll connect you with a trusted CPA partner if you need one.
Yes. We use QuickBooks Online (bank-level encryption), communicate through secure channels, and carry $1M Errors & Omissions insurance. Your data is protected.
